With more than 80 years of collective ERP and management consulting expertise, Panorama’s leadership team has assembled a team of world class players.
Portia Prescott – Managing Member, The Prescott Group, LLC
As managing member of The Prescott Group, the parent company of Panorama Consulting Solutions, Portia Prescott brings to bear a long history of information technology and consulting experience. She specializes in IT staffing solutions, technological and business strategy, application development, and IT and ERP support. Portia started her career as a software developer, and went on to provide her unique insight and understanding of the software market in a variety of businesses and business environments throughout the world.
A graduate of Brown University, Portia is heavily involved with a number of local and national philanthropic organizations. She serves on several non-profit boards and has lent her strategic expertise and advisement to many political figures, including Denver’s current mayor.
Eric Kimberling – President
After 15 years of ERP consulting at large firms including PricewaterhouseCoopers and SchlumbergerSema, Eric Kimberling realized the need for an independent consulting firm that really understands both ERP and the business benefits it can enable.
He began his career as an ERP organizational change management consultant and eventually broadened his background to include implementation project management and software selection. Eric’s background includes extensive ERP software selection, ERP organizational change, and ERP implementation project management experience.
Throughout his career, Eric has helped dozens of high-profile and global companies with their ERP initiatives, including Kodak, Samsonite, Coors, Duke Energy, and Lucent Technologies to name a few. In addition to extensive ERP experience, Eric has also helped clients with business process re-engineering, merger and acquisition integration, strategic planning, and six sigma. Calvin Hamler – Chief Executive Officer and Chief Financial Officer
Calvin Hamler is a former Wall Street finance professional turned entrepreneur, with proven results building and leading organizations of significant size, scale, and complexity, managing both horizontal and vertical growth initiatives, and personally orchestrating and negotiating strategic mergers, acquisitions and joint ventures.
A summa cum laude graduate in finance and economics from the Daniels College of Business at the University of Denver, Calvin has also carried various professional designations throughout his career, including a myriad of different securities industry licenses and accreditations in financial services. He also has served on boards of directors for financial services industry trade groups.
In 2002, Calvin started his own financial services firm, which grew to more than 600 employees generating $2.6 billion in financial asset production. In addition to building an industry-leading capital markets hedging and trading operation at the heart of the firm, he oversaw IT staff in both the development of proprietary ERP systems and the selection and implementation of off-the-shelf ERP solutions, ultimately orchestrating a joint venture with a startup software development firm to build proprietary middleware designed for the banking and financial services industries. Z. Vanessa Giacoman – Chief Operating Officer
Vanessa Giacoman is a proven C-level executive with more than 15 years of experience driving corporate performance through business process optimization and IT solutions development credited with a strong ROI.
She began her career in the late 1990s serving as president and CEO of a mortgage bank, successfully executing a unique strategy that targeted the Latin American market and grew the company to more than 300 employees. At other firms, she was brought in as COO to drive corporate performance and implement cost cutting initiatives that drove down the organization’s cost to produce and reduced the production cycle time through process re-engineering and integration of enterprise-wide operations. In her last position, she crafted the overall corporate strategy, implemented financial ERP systems, introduced efficient business processes and deployed organizational change management initiatives that would take a 50-year old financial firm through its largest expansion yet.
Vanessa is a graduate of the Harvard School of Business, the Graduate School of Political Management at George Washington University and holds a double Bachelor’s degree from UC Berkeley. She is fluent in Spanish and holds multiple financial designations, as well as her Six Sigma Black Belt. She also serves on both public and private boards, including the Colorado I Have a Dream Foundation and Pacific Mutual REIT.
Ipsita Mitra – Vice President of ERP Selection and Implementation
Ipsita Mitra brings over 15 years of expertise in IT consulting, people management, project and program leadership, process improvement and software delivery management to her role as director of ERP selection and implementation. She has extensive global industry experience in manufacturing, finance, business intelligence, and hi-tech. She has worked with such firms as Atos Origin, Intel Corporation and Agilent Technologies. Ipsita’s expertise not only covers the entire software development life cycle including product development but also includes SDLC methodologies, CMMi and ISO 9000 methodologies, and project management methodologies.
Ipsita is actively engaged in developing and teaching various courses in the project management arena at a local university.
Ian Morgan — Vice President of IT and Business Solutions
Since starting in the information technology industry in 1996, Mr. Morgan has developed into a proven leader of technology-driven solutions. Ian has served as director of IT for a number of companies, helping them build the technological backbone necessary to achieve their growth goals. Throughout his career, Ian has accumulated industry-recognized certifications with Cisco (CCNA), Microsoft (MCSE, MCSA, MCP), and other programs involving CheckPoint Firewall and Microsoft SQL Server.
Ian’s many notable achievements include the deployment of a nationwide call center with VoIP, Citrix farm deployment, VMware enterprise build-out and deployment, and the architecture and management of numerous internal and external custom web application and workflow frameworks.
Larry Bell – Manager of Vendor Relations
Larry Bell is the manager of vendor relations on Panorama’s software selection team. Having previously served as an inventory control manager, warehouse manager, buyer, planner, and purchasing manager, Larry brings extensive experience in the areas of supply chain management, distribution and manufacturing. His background also includes more than fifteen years experience working as a trainer and consultant with a variety of high-profile ERP software vendors.
