Epicor ERP to Be Rolled-Out in Multiple Markets to Support Company Growth Strategy

Epicor Software Corporation, a global leader in business software solutions for manufacturing, distribution, retail and services organisations, today announced that Diamond Key International (DKI), a leading provider of automation solutions and services to manufacturers and system integrators specialising in bulk liquid storage, transfer and distribution, plans to expand its engagement with Epicor by rolling out its next-generation enterprise resource planning (ERP) solution to multiple markets throughout the Asia Pacific (APAC) region.

Headquartered in Melbourne, Australia, DKI’s Asia Pacific operations also service New Zealand, Singapore, Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand and the Philippines, Hong Kong and China. With 140 employees, DKI has undergone significant growth since the company’s inception in 1998. Having implemented Epicor ERP to replace a number of disparate legacy IT systems at the company’s Australian operations last year, DKI now intends to leverage the solution to support its entire Asia Pacific operations.

Prior to implementing Epicor ERP, DKI did not have a fully comprehensive and scalable ERP system in place to manage its financials and other business critical processes, on one centralised platform. Instead, the company had a number of manual based systems including multiple spreadsheets to manage procurement, quoting and project management. Based on the success DKI has enjoyed since bringing the Epicor ERP system on board in Australia, it has now decided to roll the system out to support its growth strategy across the wider APAC region.

Once we were able to map out what we required from an ERP system, including financial consolidation and project management, we issued an RFP and invited several companies to come speak with us. Epicor stood out because of the robust and flexible nature of its ERP platform.” DKI was also impressed with the system’s ability to provide a centralised view of its entire business and a single point of accountability. In particular, DKI has reaped real benefit from the dashboards offered as part of the Epicor ERP platform, which have provided the company with a consolidated view of all projects underway, as well as a granular view of every component involved in each.
