Winners Will Be Announced in San Francisco in September 2013
Epicor Software Corporation, a global leader in ERP software solutions for manufacturing, distribution, retail and services organizations, today announced that Epicor has been named as a Stevie finalist in the 2013 American Business Awards in two categories: New Product of the Year–Supply Chain Management, and Executive of the Year–Computer Software CEO. Gold, Silver, or Bronze Stevie Award winners will be announced during the new product and tech awards banquet on September 16, 2013 in San Francisco.
The American Business Awards are the nation’s premier business awards program. All organizations operating in the U.S.A. are eligible to submit nominations — public and private, for-profit and non-profit, large and small. More than 3,200 nominations from organizations of all sizes and in virtually every industry were submitted this year for consideration in a wide range of categories, including Most Innovative Company of the Year, Best New Product or Service of the Year, and Executive of the Year, among others.
Epicor president and CEO Pervez Qureshi has demonstrated an outstanding track record of delivering consistent performance and organic growth, as well as proven acquisition success. Most recently his leadership in 2012 led to the acquisition of Solarsoft Business Systems, bringing annual revenues for Epicor to just under $1 billion. Furthermore, Epicor continues to bring innovative next-generation business software solutions to the market that leverage the latest technology, marked in its newest release of Epicor enterprise resource planning (ERP) which is named a finalist for New Product of the Year.
“It is an honor to be recognized as a finalist in two categories of this esteemed awards program,” said Qureshi. “As a company, we are committed to delivering innovative, flexible and scalable business software solutions like Epicor ERP, that enable our customers to reduce costs, streamline processes and maximize productivity — ultimately driving continued growth and business success.”
Finalists were chosen by more than 100 business professionals nationwide during preliminary judging in April and May. More than 150 members of 10 specialized judging committees determined Stevie Award placements from among the Finalists during final judging, which took place May 13 – 24.
