Deploys Epicor ERP to Drive Efficiency, Reduce Workload, Enhance Training Capabilities and Create New Growth Opportunities
Epicor Software Corporation, a global leader in business software solutions for manufacturing, distribution, retail and services organizations, has announced a new contract to deploy Epicor enterprise resource planning (ERP) at the Dubai headquarters of A-MAP, a leading specialist in the distribution of aftermarket automotive spare parts, automotive batteries, tires and lubricants. Through the implementation of the next-generation Epicor ERP solution, A-MAP seeks to boost performance in terms of efficiency, reduced workload, enhanced training and re-training capabilities, extracting complex analysis, generating new expansion and growth opportunities.
“As a quality and service-oriented company, our objective is to keep our Middle East customers on hold for no more than 45 seconds while looking for their customer profile,” said Asad Badami, managing director for A-MAP. “We also want to be able to see the state of the company’s core divisions at a glance, including warehouse capacity, procurement statistics and delivery schedules. The new ERP system must also easily facilitate in-house training of existing and new users through an education system, provide advanced accounting functionalities, offer human resource support, and facilitate core business automation.
“Epicor ERP inspired us with its extensive capabilities, offering exactly what we envisioned for our new ERP system,” Badami continued. “A-MAP will also benefit from value-added support and seamless transfer of product knowledge. Epicor has kept to deadlines and worked closely with our IT team to reduce implementation time wherever possible and we really appreciate this.”
With a network of branches and clients spanning five continents, A-MAP’s Dubai headquarters needed an enterprise solution that consolidated various critical functions such as sales, finance, payroll, supply chain management, customer relationship management and human capital management.
“Epicor goes beyond traditional ERP to deliver a genuinely comprehensive solution that can handle diverse, complex tasks, while at the same time providing the flexibility and scalability needed to grow and expand with the business,” said Paul Hammond, regional vice president for Epicor in the Middle East. “Moreover, Epicor understands the core business of customers like A-MAP and we can therefore provide insights into the industry’s best practices which is a key factor that has given Epicor a significant competitive edge as the ERP solution of choice.”
Epicor ERP will be deployed at the A-MAP headquarters in collaboration with MFI Group, a member of the Epicor Inspired Partner Network, who offers IT and technology consulting through its subsidiary MFI Consulting & Technology. The MFI Group employs over 1,100 employees across 17 countries and has an annual turnover of USD 50 million.
A-MAP operates a network of branch offices in China, South Africa and USA, distributing leading brand names such as Solite, Asimco, RBI and Fenix. The company caters to a global network of clients located in five continents. A-MAP will be deploying the finance, supply chain management (SCM), sales, customer relationship management (CRM), payroll and human capital management (HCM) modules of Epicor ERP.
