The 2026 ERP Report Examines ERP Implementation Outcomes and the Decisions That Led to Them
DENVER, Colo., — The business transformation and ERP consulting firm, Panorama Consulting Group, today released an independent report relevant to organizations considering an ERP implementation or digital transformation.
One of the key findings was business intelligence emerged as the most significantly deployed digital initiative, with 55.3% of organizations reporting significant deployment.
“With increasing uncertainty in the macro-economic environment, organizations are looking for the ability to forecast based on rapidly changing assumptions.,” said Chris Devault, Senior Manager of Client Services at Panorama. “Business intelligence allows organizations to model how changes in demand, costs, or supply constraints could affect performance.”
The report also revealed that more than a quarter of organizations exceeded their project budgets, with additional technology needs cited as the leading cause.
“Organizations often discover fatal misfits late in the project, so they turn to additional technology, scope expansion, and custom builds,” said Devault. “This is why it’s essential to work with an independent ERP consultant who prioritizes long-term architectural fit over license sales.”
